About Chantal
I am a Classics student at KCL, originally from the Netherlands. I have studied both Greek and Latin for 10 years now, started my BA in Classics in the Netherlands but decided after two years to move to the UK where I started the BA in Greek and Latin at King's, where I will be graduating this May. I have tutored children before, in the Netherlands, at an A-level equivalent.

I believe the key to understanding Greek and Latin is to stop treating these languages like some intricate puzzle and start treating them as the languages they are bearing in mind that these languages have not evolved and stood still for about 2000 years. By explaining the logic behind the grammar, students can focus on the usage of the grammar without it feeling too foreign for them. When it comes to Latin, I am a big advocate of including some active usage of the language, instead of the passive way that has been used for decades now.
