About Peta
I am a committed ESL tutor with 9 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over the years, I have taught 150–200 students, helping them enhance their English skills and perform better academically.
My passion for education inspires me to create lessons that are simple, structured, and interactive. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, helping students build both skills and confidence.
A proud milestone in my career has been watching students who once struggled in English become confident communicators. Many have improved exam results and excelled in presentations and classroom discussions.
I adjust my teaching style according to each student’s needs and pace. My goal is to empower students to enjoy learning English and develop skills that will help them succeed in academics and beyond.

My ESL teaching methodology emphasises practical learning, confidence, and consistent improvement. Students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a structured yet interactive way.
Motivation is a key element; I encourage students with achievable goals, recognition of progress, and positive reinforcement. When difficulties appear, I apply problem-solving methods to simplify concepts and provide targeted exercises. Integrity is a core value in my approach, ensuring honesty, professionalism, and respect in every session.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons based on individual goals, learning pace, and style. Besides ESL, I also teach spoken English, business communication, academic writing, and grammar fundamentals.
