I am a Pharm-D qualified Clinical Pharmacist with professional hospital and ICU experience and an MPhil background in Pharmacology. My teaching is based on strong academic knowledge combined with practical clinical experience. Struggling with pharmacology, drug calculations, or understanding how medicines are used in real clinical situations? My goal is to make these topics clear, practical, and easier to remember. I tailor every lesson to your level, learning style, and specific goals—whether you are preparing for an exam, catching up on difficult topics, improving your clinical knowledge, or building confidence in medication-related concepts.
My approach to teaching is practical, student-centered, and focused on understanding rather than memorization. As a Pharm-D qualified Clinical Pharmacist with hospital and ICU experience and an MPhil student in Pharmacology, I connect pharmacological concepts with real clinical situations to help students understand how and why medicines are used.
I begin each lesson by identifying your current level, learning objectives, and areas of difficulty. I explain concepts in simple and clear language, using mechanisms of action, clinical examples, diagrams, comparisons, mnemonics, and practice questions where appropriate. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate rather than simply listening to a lecture.
A typical lesson starts with a short review of the previous topic, followed by an explanation of the new concept. We then work through clinical examples and practice questions, identify common mistakes, and finish with a brief recap and key points for revision. For drug calculations, I use a step-by-step approach so students understand the calculation rather than simply memorizing formulas.
What sets me apart is my combination of academic pharmacology knowledge and real-world clinical pharmacy experience. My experience working with hospitalized patients and healthcare professionals allows me to explain how pharmacology is applied in actual clinical practice, including medication safety, dose considerations, drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, and rational medicine use.
My lessons are suitable for nursing students, pharmacy students, allied health students, and other healthcare learners at undergraduate or early postgraduate level. I can particularly help students with pharmacology, medication safety, drug calculations, cardiovascular pharmacology, CNS pharmacology, antibiotics, and understanding medicines used in clinical practice. I adapt the teaching style and difficulty according to each student's background, goals, and examination requirements.
