About Casey
With 10.5 years of training as a clinical psychologist—and extensive experience in research, teaching, and one-on-one support—I bring a naturally warm, genuine, and supportive style to tutoring. I’ve always resonated with Carl Rogers’ insight that the most effective helping relationships come from the *way of being* the helper, not just their techniques. My approach reflects that: I create a learning environment grounded in patience, curiosity, and encouragement, helping students feel confident, capable, and genuinely understood. In my personal life, I am a heavy metal guitarist, the patron saint of pugs and house cats, and a veteran of the United States Air Force (2002-2006).

I make psychology fun, exciting, and most of all relatable so that you remember them and apply them. Are you stuck on research design? Is APA style keeping you down? Are you intimidated by statistics? Trouble navigating a huge data set? Not a problem. What about graduate school? The process of applying for and getting into graduate school is stressful and there are certain things that any student needs to have checked off at different steps of the application process. I am happy to coach you through the process and review any application materials and offer interview help.
