About Millie
Hi, I’m Millie! I’m a postgraduate student at the University of Kent, and I’m passionate about helping students learn in a way that works best for them. I know that everyone learns differently, and I tailor my lessons to match your individual style, so you can feel confident and supported every step of the way. I have experience working with neurodivergent and vulnerable students, and I create lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and structured to help you succeed. I also have a wide range of interests, including psychology, sports, music, and the arts, and I love making all subjects fun and interesting. My goal is not just to teach, but to help you feel motivated, capable, and excited about learning.

My approach to tutoring is highly personalised and student-centred. I take time to understand how each student learns best, allowing me to adapt lesson structure, pace, and teaching methods to suit their individual needs. Lessons are flexible and can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the student’s concentration and goals. I have experience working in a secondary school within the SEND department, where I delivered tailored lessons and targeted interventions to neurodivergent and vulnerable students. In addition, I have taught English to international students, supporting learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. While most of my experience is with students aged 13–18, I am also confident and happy to support younger learners.
