About Heather

I have been a professional photographer for over 25 years! In college I was taught on film and I still have my developer for my dark room. It wasn’t long after that I went digital and eventually learned photoshop. I always excelled in English and all my subjects, I was Valedictorian of my graduating class. I tutored children for over 10 years in all subjects and adults in photography. I have worked also as a graphic designer at a newspaper in Colorado and Ohio.

About the lesson

I believe listening is extremely important and understanding how each individual learns is important. Tailoring to specific learning styles in the individual makes all the difference whether a student is a success. Detailed lesson plans are provided weekly and STEM activities are incorporated into lessons as well. This can help a student understand the lessons better and they can look back at their notes. All tutoring is live, as I believe this is extremely important. Communication and connection are vital in any teaching relationship. This aides in developing a solid foundation space for learning.
