About Morgan
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a cognate in counseling, and a minor in global studies.
Due to this degree, I have a plethora of experience writing, proofreading, and editing papers, providing greater knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Additionally, I’ve had ample experience creating and presenting presentations. Not only do I have experience presenting typical PowerPoint style assignments, but I also have experience in dramatic storytelling, interviews in front of an audience, and speaking engagements.
I have previously worked in ministry, specifically helping middle school girls navigate their faith, relationships with others, and relationships with God. This has provided me with a greater understanding of this age group in particular, although I have also worked with elementary and high schoolers. That being said, my lessons are geared towards elementary through high school aged individuals.

My teaching method and techniques are adaptable for each student. At the beginning of our time together, I will conduct an interview to establish your knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses. I also will want to hear what you hope to gain from our sessions together! Your first homework assignment will be an assessment which I will work off of for future planning. We will work together to create a plan for you to gain greater proficiency in the areas you want to grow in. If you are primarily looking for homework tutoring, I am more than happy to provide that and keep things simple. If this is the goal, I likely will not assign any additional assignments.
I am very personable and love chatting, so our lessons will be full of dialogue. English is communication, so to teach it I believe we must be able to speak to one another. I will also do my best to provide time for you to ask questions.
