About Jazmia
Hey there! I'm a college junior majoring in Management Information Systems, but my heart truly belongs to the world of English and storytelling. As someone who loves crafting stories, playing with language, and helping others succeed, I'm thrilled to offer tutoring services tailored specifically for elementary and middle school students. Despite my academic focus on Management Information Systems, I've always had a deep passion for English literature and language arts. In fact, I spend much of my free time writing stories and exploring the nuances of the English language. My dedication to English is not just a personal interest—it's a calling to share my love of language with others. I come from a family of learners, including a fifth-grade sister and family members in middle school. I've had the privilege of helping them with their English assignments and witnessing firsthand the joy of learning and growth. My experience working with younger students has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and encouragement in the learning process.
When it comes to tutoring, I believe in fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and create. My approach is personalized, interactive, and focused on building confidence and skills.
