About Jennifer
I’m a current nursing student pursuing part time work as an academic tutor. I'd describe my personality as goal oriented, caring, and resourceful.
I like tutoring because I have always been passionate about learning and helping others. Becoming a tutor, allowed me to use my knowledge to assist others in reaching their academic goals. Through my experiences as a tutor, I have not only helped students excel academically, but I have also become a role model and mentor to my students. Tutoring has taught me the importance of patience, communication, and empathy in teaching.
I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to make a meaningful difference in the learning experience of students. Academics can be challenging, but every obstacle is an opportunity to grow and learn new skills and strategies. As a student myself I was compassionate to the struggles of academics and hoped to utilize my knowledge and skills to help fellow students.

I help students achieve their writing goals and improve writing skills through personalized instruction. Writing can be challenging but, by teaching students helpful strategies and techniques for writing they are able to develop confidence in their skills. I help students understand how to structure and develop their writing in order to effectively deliver a message to the reader.
