About Trisha
Hello! I'm a friendly and dedicated Tagalog tutor who is passionate about helping students learn Filipino in a fun, supportive, and engaging way. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to match your goals, learning style, and pace.
Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your speaking, reading, writing, or grammar, I'll guide you step by step with clear explanations and practical activities. My Teaching Approach
My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and practical. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in the lesson. I use real-life examples, conversations, and simple explanations to make learning Tagalog enjoyable and easy to understand.
Teaching Method and Techniques
I tailor each lesson to the student's goals and proficiency level, whether they are complete beginners or advanced learners. My lessons include grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading, and conversational practice. I also use repetition, role-playing, and interactive exercises to help students build confidence and improve their speaking skills.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of the previous lesson, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary or grammar. We then practice through guided conversations, reading exercises, and pronunciation activities. At the end of the lesson, I summarize the key points and provide practice exercises or recommendations for continued learning.
What Sets Me Apart
I am patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes because I believe mistakes are an important part of learning. I also customize every lesson based on each student's interests and learning pace to keep them engaged and motivated.
