About Rachel

Throughout my studies as a student, I have helped my peers along the way with math and also helped some young students learn piano as well. In all my math classes, I was always helping my classmates to understand the concepts. I have helped as a peer tutor in math at school, as well as just helping my friends. With piano, I have had experience teaching students as a teacher and as a practice coach. As a teacher, I help them better understand the pieces they learn and play it at performance level. As a practice coach, I help students to identify where are good places in the piece to practice and show them different techniques that can be used in their own practicing.

About the lesson

Every student has their own learning style, and my job is to find that. I will adjust my teaching to match the student's learning styles so that they can learn in the way that works best for them. I focus on teaching students in elementary and middle school.
