About Jerzie

I am a college student with over four years of tutoring experience working with K–12 students across a wide range of subjects. I have supported learners from kindergarten through high school seniors, helping them strengthen foundational skills, improve grades, and build academic confidence.

I specialize in adapting my approach to each student’s unique learning style, whether they need step-by-step instruction, test preparation strategies, or focused homework support. My priority is making complex material clear, manageable, and engaging.

In addition to tutoring, I currently work as a CNA paraprofessional, which has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to support individuals with diverse needs. This experience carries over directly into my tutoring style, allowing me to remain calm, attentive, and highly responsive to each student.

I take pride in building strong relationships with students and maintaining open communication with parents to ensure goals are consistently met. My focus is on long-term academic growth, confidence building, and helping students become independent learners.

About the lesson

My lessons are fully personalized to match each student’s learning style, pace, and academic goals. I begin by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, then create a structured plan that builds understanding step by step.

Sessions can be adjusted based on need—whether that means quick help with homework, test preparation, or more in-depth instruction to master challenging concepts. I focus on making material clear and approachable, using real examples and guided practice to ensure students not only complete their work, but truly understand it.

I prioritize patience, encouragement, and consistency, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I also maintain open communication with parents, welcoming feedback and aligning lessons with their expectations.

My goal is to help students improve academically while building confidence, independence, and long-term learning skills.
