About Emily
I have been teaching on and off for the past six years. I have, in the past, been a tutor for younger family members and neighborhood children, and I enjoyed doing it so much that I wanted to make a career of it. I do not currently have any students, but I had two about three months ago (a college student and a high school student). I believe that everyone need help sometimes, and that is where I come in. Even in my time of tutoring, I have had questions of my own. I see teaching as an opportunity to also learn from points-of-view that I never would have seen.

I am almost a college graduate with years of creative writing and literary experience under my belt. I will be tutoring middle school and high school students, and possibly some entry-level college students as well. I am invested in all of my students and my goal is to help them succeed. I will work with each student at their own pace, and that of their school teacher's, but I do not rush creative thoughts and ideas. My specialty is English, but I also help with math, science, history, the arts, and music.

Details
For middle school students, I have a flat fee of $15/hr, including webcam. For college students, I add $5 to the webcam, but the in-house stays the same.
