About Zhuoyang
Hi, I’m a Python tutor and a graduate student from Columbia University. I have a background in computer science and data analysis, and I use Python for various data projects and machine learning applications. I have also taught Python to hundreds of students with positive feedback.
I want to help you learn Python for data analysis. In my course, you will learn the basics of Python programming and how to use popular Python libraries for data processing and analysis. You will also learn how to apply machine learning techniques and communicate your results.
My teaching method is practice-oriented and interactive. I will provide you with real-world datasets and examples, and guide you through the data analysis process with Python. You will also get exercises and projects to practice your skills.

My approach as a tutor is to make learning Python fun and engaging for my students. I believe that the best way to learn Python is by doing, not just by reading or watching. That’s why I use a practice-oriented and interactive teaching method, where you will get to work on real-world datasets and examples, and solve problems with Python code.
In each lesson, I will introduce a topic and explain the concepts and syntax of Python related to that topic. I will also show you some examples of how to use Python for that topic, such as data processing, data analysis, data visualization or machine learning. Then, you will get to practice what you learned by working on exercises and projects, with my guidance and feedback. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any difficulties or challenges you may encounter.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my passion for Python and machine learning, and my experience as a data analyst. I have been using Python for data analysis for over 5 years, and I have learned a lot of tips and tricks along the way. I have also applied machine learning techniques to solve various business problems and generate insights. I want to share my knowledge and experience with you, and help you improve your skills and confidence in Python.
My lessons are suitable for anyone who wants to learn Python for data analysis, whether you are a beginner or an intermediate learner. You will learn the fundamentals of Python programming, such as variables, data types, functions, loops and conditionals. You will also learn how to use popular Python libraries, such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib and scikit-learn, to handle data processing and analysis tasks. You will learn how to explore data with descriptive statistics and plots, how to perform data wrangling and preprocessing, how to apply machine learning algorithms and evaluate their performance, and how to communicate your findings with clear and compelling reports.
