About Allison

I have 16 years of experience as an ESL teacher and 6 years as an Elementary School teacher. I’m outgoing and passionate, yet also professional. I love teaching and my students help me to be a lifelong learner. I enjoy learning about countries and cultures around the world. I love getting to know new students, hearing new stories, and helping students achieve their goals. I teach reading, writing, listening, speaking, and pronunciation. I also have experience teaching business English, test prep, and college level writing. I welcome students of all ages and levels!

About the lesson

I plan dynamic lessons that are tailored to the specific needs of my student(s). Conversation is a big part of my lessons, giving you a chance to practice your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I enjoy role playing, using humor, and teaching vocabulary through podcasts and articles. I create a warm and open learning environment, where you can feel successful and confident!
