About Jack

Hi! I’m Jack Adee, a Computer Science student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Infonetworks and Intelligence. I develop real-world software, interactive applications, and creative tools — and I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned with students who want to grow their programming skills.

Over the course of my work, I’ve built and deployed projects that range from Minecraft utility mods with over 1.5 million downloads to tools that integrate computer vision, web applications, and problem-solving logic — all while balancing rigorous coursework at one of the top CS programs in the country.

My experience includes:

Building software tools and utilities that solve real user problems

Creating interactive games and web apps from scratch

Working with OCR, APIs, and algorithm-driven logic

Coding in languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript

Participating in competitive programming environments like FTC Robotics with Java-based robot control systems

Deploying projects online using static hosting and modern development workflows

I approach tutoring with the same mindset I bring to my own projects: clarity, curiosity, and continuous improvement. My goal is to help you not just complete assignments — but to truly understand the logic behind your code so you can confidently tackle new problems on your own.

I take pride in being:

Professional and dependable — I treat every lesson with preparation and purpose.

Clear and patient — I explain concepts in ways that click, and I adapt to your pace and style of learning.

Project-oriented — I give you tools and habits that extend beyond a single lesson or class.

Driven by experience — I draw from my own academic journey at Georgia Tech to help you succeed in yours.

Whether you’re just starting out with your first lines of code, or you’re pushing through challenging college coursework, I’ll help you build the confidence and skills you need to succeed.

I’m a Computer Science student at Georgia Tech, and I teach programming with a focus on clarity, problem-solving, and real understanding—not just memorizing syntax. My goal is to help students feel confident thinking like programmers, whether they’re just starting out or tackling advanced CS coursework.

My Teaching Method & Techniques

I use a concept-first, example-driven approach:

I start by explaining why something works before diving into how to code it.

I break down complex ideas into intuitive steps and visuals.

We write and debug code together so learning is active, not passive.

I adapt quickly to how each student learns—some need more theory, others learn best by building.

I also emphasize:

Problem-solving strategies (how to approach unfamiliar problems)

Debugging skills (how to think when code breaks)

Clean, readable code (industry-relevant habits)

A Typical Lesson Plan

A standard lesson usually looks like this:

Quick check-in – what you’re working on, what’s confusing, and your goals

Concept breakdown – clear explanation of the topic using examples

Guided practice – coding together, step by step

Independent problem – you try a problem while I coach and correct

Wrap-up & next steps – recap, tips, and optional practice problems

Lessons are flexible—I can focus on homework help, exam prep, or long-term skill building.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

I’m actively studying Computer Science at Georgia Tech, so I understand modern CS curricula and expectations.

I explain concepts the way I wish they were explained to me—clearly, intuitively, and without unnecessary jargon.

I don’t just help you get the right answer—I help you understand how to get there on your own.

I’m patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your progress.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are great for:

High school students learning programming for the first time

College students in CS, engineering, or related majors

Students taking intro to programming, data structures, algorithms, or systems classes

Anyone learning Python, Java, C/C++, JavaScript, or general programming concepts

Beginners, intermediate learners, and motivated advanced students

Whether you’re struggling in a class, preparing for exams, or just want to become a stronger programmer, I’ll meet you where you are and help you level up.
