About Will
I recently graduated from the University of Sheffield with a first-class degree in mathematics; however, during my earlier academic years, I struggled and was often left feeling overwhelmed. Slowly over time and with techniques I’d love to share with you, I began to understand the beauty of this subject, motivating me to do a master's in mathematics and statistics at the University of Birmingham in September.
This transformative journey inspired me to want to help others who may struggle with this subject, as I know exactly what it feels like when maths doesn't come naturally.
My time at university helped me become more understanding and emphatic. I want to use my position to empower students who feel like I did, as well as those who want to be pushed to the next level, so we all can conquer mathematics.
The biggest lesson I learnt on the way to graduating with first-class honours wasn't any equation or theorem. It was that no matter how difficult this subject can feel, we all have what it takes to understand it, and, better still, enjoy it. I want everyone to know this.
