We are incredibly grateful to have Ms. Imari as our sons tutor. She works with him across all subjects, including Spanish, but what truly stands out is the genuine connection she has built with him.

Our son needs to feel comfortable and connected before he can fully engage, and she is especially skilled at creating that environment. She is attentive to his demeanor and quickly recognizes when he is not quite himself. Instead of pushing through a lesson, she adjusts the session as needed, meeting him where he is that day. This flexibility has made a meaningful difference in his learning experience.

Beyond her teaching approach, we also appreciate that she sees him as an individual, not just a student completing work. She participated in his most recent IEP meeting and showed real interest in his goals and how she can support us in achieving them. Her involvement, communication, and willingness to be part of the bigger picture have meant a great deal to our family.

Overall, we value her patience, adaptability, and the strong relationship she has built with our son. Most importantly, we feel she truly cares about his success and is consistently in his corner.

A teacher must be many things to be successful. Imari embodies them all. Her patience and ability to allow students the space to be themselves fosters a environment that is filled with love and acceptance. Amari is an amazing tutor. She comes prepared with lesson plans and fun tools to keep their attention. She first did an assessment and then assisted my son with reading above grade level in such a short time. He loved his time with Amari, because she was fun and played learning games which helped since he’s very competitive. Amari had great communication skills and would advise me in advance if she couldn’t make it. I’m very happy with her services.
