About Lily
Hi future students! I'm Lily, a friendly, patient, and curious 23-year-old from Colorado, USA. I have now been living in Europe for 5 years studying, working, and living. Currently, I am a Master's student at a business school in Madrid, Spain.
I've always been a very curious person, and I find myself always craving to learn more. This is why I have begun tutoring English: to explore a new area of passion, hear more stories about my students' lives and dreams, and ultimately help them achieve their goals.
As someone who has been on both ends of language learning- teaching and being a student - I aim to create a fun, inspiring, open, and educational environment for my students. The best way to learn is to be comfortable, which I hope you will feel with me so that we can expand your knowledge and enhance your confidence!

A vital part of my teaching approach is open communication. We will start by getting to know each other a bit, and then we will move along to addressing your needs and goals.
We will discuss your areas of interest and then we can involve exercises to help your pronunciation, grammar, spelling, and overall confidence! These exercises may look like conversational role-playing, virtual games, videos, drafting emails, or even going through worksheets together.
Even if you just want to talk to someone in English~ I'm your girl!
As I am currently taking Spanish lessons, I understand being a student, and I understand what makes a good and not as good tutor. So, I will tailor your lesson so that you get the most out of your learning experience with me.
I do not mind teaching any level of English (A1-C2). I also have elementary knowledge in Spanish, French, and Italian. From living in Italy for 3 years, I'm very well versed in hand gestures too, so any way we can communicate to make it work, we will!
I hope to not only make a positive impact on your skills, but inspire more confidence in you, so that you can achieve all your dreams!
