About Melesse
My background is East African, Ethiopian but I was born and raised in Sudan until the age of 10 years old. I came to Australia as a refugee in late December 2004, thanks to PM John Howard at the time. Tasmania was the first state I arrived in and lived in Hobart with my big family of 10 people including my parents. Hobart was a beautiful place with nice scenery and easy to get around, people are friendly, calm, and have peaceful nature. I moved to Melbourne for my university studies in 2015 where I studied certificate IV in Liberal Arts to get into a Bachelor of Education P-12.
I am the second child in my family to complete a university degree. This is a very big and proud moment for myself and particularly for my parents as they brought us here to Australia for better opportunity and education than what they received in Africa. I am very proud and lucky to have achieved my education career.
I am willing to extra challenge, inspire, and build strong relationships with students of different ages with my knowledge and skills in education studies to perform tutoring face-to-face or online.
