About Shayo
My name is Ms Shayo I currently study engineering and I enjoy what I do. I tutor mainly because I love it when someone finally understands something they have been struggling with. I have struggled with these subjects before and thanks the tutor I had i was able to overcome it and now I enjoy it and Ido the same for others. The only thing Iask of my students is enthusiasm to learn. It is okay to not understand something but nothing is impossible to learn.

I will break the subject down to a basic understanding and rebuild it with the solid foundations schools don’t have the time to teach. I am young so I find it easy to find ways students can learn faster and more efficiently. I know and understand that every student learns differently but I believe that with the right guidance and explanation anyone can learn anything so I always try to adapt my teaching to cater to how the students learn. I prefer to have a friendly approach to my students while maintaining a mentor status. This way students are comfortable to engage and ask questions while still being serious enough to focus and learn. Usually I recommend lesson to be 90 mins as it usually takes a while for students to really feel engaged and in (what Like to call) the zone. I take students of all ages but I stop teaching after GCSEs.
