About Sukanya

Hello! My name is Sukanya, and I’m really excited to help you learn and grow. I enjoy teaching because I love seeing students gain confidence and realise they can do things they once found tricky.

I want to teach because I believe learning should be fun, encouraging, and never scary. Everyone learns differently, and I take the time to understand how you learn best so we can work together at your pace. My goal is to help you feel proud of your progress, ask questions without worry, and enjoy learning new things.

In my lessons, we’ll practise step by step, celebrate achievements, and build strong skills that will help you at school and beyond. I’m here to support you, cheer you on, and help you believe in yourself.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring primary school students is patient, supportive, and engaging. I focus on building strong foundations while making learning enjoyable and confidence-boosting. Lessons are structured but flexible, using clear explanations, visual aids, and age-appropriate activities to keep children motivated and involved. I break concepts down into small, manageable steps and regularly check understanding through questions and practice. Positive reinforcement is used to encourage progress and develop a love of learning.

Primary lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, depending on the child’s age and concentration level. Sessions are paced carefully, with short activities to maintain focus and energy.

I have experience working with primary-aged children and understand the importance of adapting lessons to different learning styles and abilities. I am skilled at explaining concepts in a simple, clear way and supporting children who may lack confidence or need extra encouragement. My aim is to help students progress steadily while feeling supported and motivated.

My lessons are suitable for:

2. Children of all ability levels, including those who need extra support or extension
3. Students preparing for school assessments or entrance exams
