About Ari

A bit about me: I earned two bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Physiology from the University of Washington, where I graduated on the Dean's List. Afterward, I moved to the Netherlands to complete my master's in Epidemiology. I recently started my own tutoring business and plan to tutor full-time until I begin my PhD in the coming years. Tutoring is my passion, and I’m excited to work with more students during this time!

2. Core Lesson (30-40 minutes): I break down concepts clearly, using examples that connect to your interests and learning style.
3. Interactive Practice (15-20 minutes): You'll practice problems or exercises with my guidance, while I ensure the pace matches your comfort level.
4. Check-In & Recap (5-10 minutes): We review the material and how you're feeling about it, so you leave the session feeling confident and ready for the next step.

- With 9 years of experience, I focus on creating a learning environment that’s centered around you. I build trust by listening carefully to your needs and adjusting lessons to make the material clear and relatable. My goal is to ensure you're not only learning but also feeling positive about the progress you're making.

- I primarily tutor high school and college students, specializing in subjects like Algebra, Chemistry, AP English, and Test Prep (PSAT, SAT, AP exams). I also provide targeted support for students with learning differences like ADHD, ensuring each lesson is tailored to your individual needs.
