About Celine

Hello! My name is Celine, and I am a professional German educator dedicated to bridging the cultural and linguistic gap between Malaysia and Germany. My journey with teaching the German language began over 10 years ago, and I have since turned that passion into a career helping others unlock the doors that German fluency opens.

For me, teaching is more than just delivering a curriculum; it is about empowerment. I am driven by the "Aha!" moment when a student finally grasps a complex grammar point or holds their first full conversation in German. I understand that learning a European language can feel daunting for many. My goal is to demystify the language and provide the encouragement and structure needed to turn a difficult challenge into a rewarding achievement.

When you study with me, you are not just getting a tutor; you are getting a mentor who:

- Maintains a consistent and reliable schedule.

- Provides customized progress reports to track your development.

- Offers insider cultural knowledge for those planning to relocate or work in Germany.

My commitment to you is simple: I provide a professional, safe, and highly effective learning environment where your goals become my priority. Whether you are aiming for academic excellence, career advancement, or personal growth, I am here to ensure you reach your destination with confidence.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is built on the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach. I believe that a language is a living tool, not just a set of grammar rules to be memorized.

My Techniques and Methodology I use a "flipped classroom" style where we focus our face-to-face time on active speaking and listening.

Immersive Learning: From day one, I encourage students to speak in German, using visual aids and context to bridge the gap.

Multimedia Integration: I use authentic German materials, including news clips, podcasts, and digital whiteboards, to make lessons interactive.

Structured Grammar: While we focus on speaking, I provide clear, easy-to-digest "Cheat Sheets" for complex German grammar like cases and word order.

Typical Lesson Structure & Length

Duration: Standard lessons are 45, 60 or 90 minutes.

I am a dedicated German educator with over 10 years of experience in private tutoring, corporate training as well as classroom settings. I am also a certified TELC examiner

Miss Celine is genuinely more than just a teacher — she’s a mentor, a friend, and an outstanding German educator. I’ve been learning with her for three years now, and I used to think German was the most complex language ever (it still is!). She guided me step by step, helping me progress from A1 to C1. Even after I achieved my goal of studying at a university in Germany, she remained supportive and in touch. Her lessons are engaging, her personality is warm and fun, and her dedication to her students is unmatched.
