About Elise
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy and have 6 years of experience teaching students of various skill levels. My academic training included performance preparation, music theory study, and instructional methodology. These experiences strengthened my ability to guide both technical mastery and artistic interpretation. Throughout my teaching career, I have supported students preparing for recitals and academic assessments.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes organization, patience, and measurable improvement. I believe students achieve strong results when lessons are clear and consistent. Many learners appreciate my detailed feedback and calm instruction style. I carefully adjust lesson plans to meet each student’s strengths and learning needs. Encouraging confidence alongside discipline remains central to my teaching approach.
Outside of teaching, I continue practicing advanced repertoire and refining my educational techniques. Lifelong learning allows me to maintain high standards in both performance and instruction. Watching students grow into confident musicians brings me great satisfaction. My long-term aim is to inspire dedication, technical excellence, and lasting appreciation for piano music.

My piano lessons are designed to build strong technical control while encouraging expressive understanding of music. We begin with finger exercises, scale practice, and coordination drills to improve flexibility and accuracy. Proper posture and relaxed wrist movement are emphasized to prevent tension and support endurance. Rhythm exercises help students develop steady tempo control and improved concentration. Each session starts with structured warm-ups to prepare the hands and sharpen focus. I explain music reading and theory concepts in clear and simple language to support deeper understanding.
As students progress, we work on dynamic balance, pedal coordination, and phrasing techniques. I break complex pieces into smaller sections to ensure clarity and build confidence step by step. Musical interpretation is discussed to help learners connect emotionally with each composition. Performance preparation includes full piece practice to strengthen endurance and reduce nervousness. Detailed home practice guidance supports consistent progress between sessions.
My goal is to help students become disciplined and expressive pianists. I provide balanced and constructive feedback to encourage steady growth. Over time, learners refine finger control, improve tone quality, and gain performance confidence. I aim to create lessons that combine structure, creativity, and long-term musical development.
