About Talia
I hold a Master’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy and have 8 years of experience teaching students across various skill levels. My academic studies focused on teaching methods, advanced repertoire, and performance psychology. These experiences enhanced my ability to support both technical mastery and emotional expression. Throughout my career, I have helped students prepare for examinations, recitals, and personal artistic goals.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes organization, patience, and measurable progress. I believe consistent practice guided by clear instruction leads to lasting improvement. Many students appreciate my detailed feedback and supportive approach. I adapt lesson plans carefully to match individual learning styles and goals. My piano lessons are structured to develop accurate technique while encouraging expressive interpretation. We begin with finger exercises, scales, and coordination drills to strengthen independence and flexibility. Rhythm training with steady counting methods improves timing accuracy and concentration. Each lesson opens with systematic warm-ups that prepare the hands and sharpen focus. I clearly explain how posture, wrist movement, and finger control affect tone quality and sound balance. Music reading practice is integrated carefully to strengthen sight-reading and theoretical understanding.
As students progress, we work on dynamic variation, pedal technique, and phrasing development. I divide complex pieces into manageable sections to build confidence step by step. Musical analysis helps learners understand harmony and structure in simple terms. Performance preparation includes complete run-throughs to develop endurance and reduce performance anxiety. Detailed home practice guidance ensures consistent improvement between sessions.
My goal is to help students become disciplined and expressive pianists. I provide constructive and motivating feedback to support continuous growth. Over time, learners refine technical precision, strengthen coordination, and gain stage confidence. I aim to create balanced lessons that combine structure, creativity, and long-term musical development.
