About Matteo
I'm Matteo, a PhD in Computer Science and a researcher in neuroimaging and data analysis applied to neuroscience. I have international academic experience and have worked as a teaching assistant at university, helping students understand complex concepts in a clear and structured way. My approach also stems from my personal experience: for many years, I found science teaching too formal, abstract, and unintuitive. Concepts were often presented as formulas or procedures to memorize, without truly explaining the underlying reasoning. Therefore, in my classes, I try to do the opposite: starting from intuition, concrete examples, and the meaning of concepts, before moving on to formalization. The goal is not just to solve a problem, but to understand why it is solved that way and to build a solid reasoning method.

My approach is practical and personalized: I start with the student's level, clarify their objectives, and create a targeted learning path to fill in gaps and consolidate their study methods. During a typical lesson, I alternate theoretical explanations, guided examples, and practical exercises, verifying step-by-step that the concepts are truly understood. My goal is to make complex topics clearer and more accessible. My lessons are aimed at high school students, university students, master's students, doctoral students, and adults who wish to strengthen technical skills or prepare for exams, projects, and theses.
