About Abhishek
I am a computer engineering graduate and experienced finance professional with a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas. Over my career, I have held finance roles at organizations including Amazon and Thomson Reuters, where I regularly applied quantitative analysis, logic, and structured problem-solving.
I also served as a teaching assistant at UT Dallas, supporting bachelor’s- and master’s-level finance courses. My engineering education gave me a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and analytical reasoning.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, strengthen their fundamentals, and become confident independent problem-solvers.

I focus on helping students understand concepts instead of simply memorizing formulas. Each lesson begins with a review of the student’s goals and challenges, followed by a clear explanation, worked examples, guided practice and a short recap.
With a background in computer engineering and senior-level finance, I connect mathematics, physics, chemistry, logic and finance to practical, real-world situations. I also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas, supporting both bachelor’s- and master’s-level finance courses.
I break difficult problems into simple steps and adapt my pace and teaching style to each student. My lessons are suitable for elementary and high-school students, as well as college and university students seeking support in finance.
