About Andy

Tutoring has been a part of my life ever since I started off helping my peers in high school with what came easy to me. I eventually also helped students in middle school and college as I pursued my undergrad degree. After that, I kept busy with tutoring during graduate school and life in the workforce as well.

My education is a MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering ('23) where I wrote a thesis on a device for fetal heart rate monitoring. I also have a BS in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly SLO ('21) where I did projects about pest monitoring and air racing.

About the lesson

Being a computer guy by day and a math nerd by night, I piggyback off my logical and structural thinking to help students bring order to the chaos that can be math. If you’re struggling to wrap your head around it all, I’m here to help fix that for you.

I’ve helped students simplify understanding, streamline the studying process, improve grades, and perform well on their exams. Whether you’re looking for simple homework help or long-term guidance, I’ll help make the math understandable in bite-sizes and set you up for success.

Details

Weekends will be charged at $55/hr (or 5hrs at $250, or 10hrs at $495) and $15 travel fees. This is higher due to it being outside my normal hours.
