About Merlyn
I am an experienced Computer Engineering professional with Master of Technology in Computer Engineering and Astronomy and Space Physics. I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching students at all levels and have a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students in Mathematics and IT-related subjects. With a solid academic background and hands-on industry experience, I help students not only understand concepts but apply them with confidence.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and interactive. I believe every student can succeed when complex topics are explained clearly and at the right pace. I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, and developing a logical way of thinking that supports long-term academic success.
I take a professional, student-focused approach to every lesson. Sessions are well planned, goal-oriented, and tailored to individual learning needs. I value punctuality, clarity, and open communication, ensuring a supportive and respectful learning environment.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques
My teaching approach is concept-driven, practical, and interactive. I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to problem-solving and real-world applications. I simplify complex topics using step-by-step explanations, visual aids, real-life examples, and analogies from IT and engineering. I actively engage students with questions, quick checks, and hands-on exercises to ensure understanding, not memorization.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson starts with a brief review of previous concepts, followed by clear explanation of new topics. I then solve examples step by step, gradually involving the student in problem-solving. Each session includes practice questions, doubt-clearing, and exam- or assignment-focused tips. Lessons end with a short recap and optional homework for reinforcement.
