About Leighanne

Hello! My name is Leighanne, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, Programming, and other STEM-related subjects. These are not just topics I study, but subjects I use regularly in solving real engineering problems and projects.

As a tutor, I am committed to creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I understand that every learner is unique, so I take the time to adapt my teaching methods to match each student's pace, strengths, and learning style. My goal is to help students build not only their academic skills but also their confidence in tackling challenging subjects.

Beyond academics, I actively participate in leadership roles, engineering organizations, and community outreach activities, which have strengthened my communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills. Hi! I'm a Computer Engineering student who understands that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and STEM-related topics. As a student myself, I know the challenges of keeping up with lessons, preparing for exams, and understanding difficult concepts. That's why I aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My teaching style is patient, interactive, and focused on understanding rather than memorization. I like to explain concepts step by step, using real-life examples and practical situations to make lessons easier to grasp. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust my approach depending on what works best for each learner.

In a typical lesson, we'll start by reviewing any topics that need clarification, then move on to new concepts through guided discussions and examples. After that, we'll solve practice problems together and gradually build your confidence until you can answer independently. I also encourage students to ask as many questions as they need because I believe curiosity is one of the best ways to learn.

What makes me different as a tutor is that I'm not just focused on helping students get the right answers.
