About Setti
Hello! I'm a Dr. S. Sarika, computer networks tutor with a strong academic background in Computer Science/IT, focused on helping university students truly understand networking, not just memorize it also can implement projrcts pn those. I break down complex topics like the OSI model, TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing into clear, step-by-step explanations. My lessons use real-world examples and hands-on tools like Packet Tracer or Wireshark, so concepts click rather than confuse. I tailor every session to your specific course syllabus or exam, so you're studying exactly what matters. Whether you're catching up, tackling a tough assignment, or aiming for top marks, I adjust my pace to fit you.
I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely invested in your progress — no question is too basic. My teaching style is structured but flexible, always focused on real understanding over rote learning. I've helped students go from confused to confident in some of the trickiest networking topics. I'm committed to professionalism, clear communication, and making sure every session moves you closer to your goals.

I believe in making computer networking concepts intuitive rather than just memorized. Instead of jumping straight into definitions, I connect topics like the OSI model, TCP/IP, routing, and subnetting to real-world scenarios — how data actually travels from your laptop to a website, for example — so the "why" makes sense before the "how."
I use diagrams and visual walkthroughs to explain protocols and data flow, since networking is a very visual subject
I break complex topics (like subnetting or the OSI layers) into small, practice-based steps rather than long lectures
Where possible, I use simulation tools (like Cisco Packet Tracer or Wireshark) so students can see concepts in action, not just in theory
I encourage students to explain concepts back to me — this quickly reveals gaps in understanding
