About Jacob
I have 11 years of teaching experience and earned a PhD in Computer Science. My journey into programming began with a curiosity about how software powers everyday technology, and that interest continues to shape my teaching today. I enjoy helping students discover that coding is both creative and practical.
My teaching style combines patience with structured learning. I explain technical concepts using simple language, coding demonstrations, diagrams, and real-life examples that make programming easier to understand. Every student receives guidance that supports their individual goals and learning pace.
Outside teaching, I enjoy building software projects, exploring artificial intelligence, and learning about new programming technologies. Helping students transform from complete beginners into confident developers remains one of the most satisfying experiences of my career.

Programming is a valuable skill that becomes enjoyable when learners understand the logic behind every line of code. My lessons cover Python, Java, algorithms, data structures, debugging, object-oriented programming, and software development through practical coding exercises and easy-to-follow explanations. Students gradually build confidence by solving real programming problems in a supportive environment.
Every learner follows a personalized learning path based on their experience and goals. Beginners start with programming fundamentals, variables, loops, and functions before moving to structured coding exercises. Intermediate students improve database concepts, APIs, debugging, and project organization. Advanced learners develop software architecture, optimization techniques, and portfolio projects while receiving detailed guidance and constructive feedback.
My lessons focus on creating confident programmers who enjoy solving problems independently. Students strengthen logical thinking, creativity, analytical reasoning, and persistence while developing practical coding skills. Every session prepares learners for academic success, technical careers, and lifelong growth in the world of software development.
