About Debpriyo
I’m Debpriyo — a Design Engineer and Full-Stack Developer who enjoys building things and helping others understand how they work.
I work across frontend, backend and modern web development, with hands-on experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, Python, FastAPI, MongoDB and REST APIs. I’ve worked on real-world applications, personal projects, open-source contributions and hackathon projects, which has taught me that learning to code is much more than just knowing the syntax.
That’s also how I approach teaching.
I try to explain concepts in a simple, practical way and connect them to things you would actually encounter while building software. Rather than giving you a solution and asking you to copy it, I’ll help you understand the thought process behind it so you can eventually solve problems on your own.
I’m comfortable teaching complete beginners as well as students who already know the basics but want to become better at problem-solving, web development or building projects.
Whether you're learning programming for college, preparing for your first development role, working on a project, or simply curious about coding, we can structure the lessons around what you actually want to achieve.
No unnecessary jargon, no pressure to memorize everything — just clear explanations, hands-on coding and steady progress.

Programming becomes much easier when you stop memorizing code and start understanding how things actually work.
My classes are focused on practical, hands-on learning in JavaScript, Python and Web Development. Instead of spending the entire lesson going through theory, we’ll write code, build small projects, solve problems, and gradually work towards building complete applications.
Whether you’re starting from scratch, struggling with programming fundamentals, working on a college project, or trying to become more confident as a developer, I’ll adapt the lessons to your current level and goals.
Depending on what you want to learn, we can cover:
• Programming fundamentals, logic and problem-solving
• JavaScript and Python from fundamentals to more advanced concepts
• HTML, CSS and modern web development
• Frontend development and React
• Backend development with Node.js and Express
• APIs, databases and full-stack development
• Git, GitHub and real-world development workflows
• Building and debugging projects from scratch
• Help understanding and improving your own projects
I want you to understand the reasoning behind the code—not just copy something that works. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, experiment, make mistakes and figure things out with guidance.
The goal is simple: by the end of our lessons, you should be able to sit down in front of a blank editor and know how to start building something yourself.
