About Dhruv

I have always loved being an educator! My journey began with being a "mini-teacher" in my classes helping other students out with classwork, which then moved into becoming a tutor. I have over four years of experience tutoring in languages (Hindi and Sanskrit) as well as Math and Science subjects at a university level. I have also taught "softer" subjects like painting and drawing. I consider myself to be a patient person and enjoy working with people to ensure they eventually comprehend all kinds of material.

About the lesson

What sets me apart? - I like to assume my students have no prior knowledge and try my best to teach from the ground up, with no assumptions - For lesson plans, I usually start with a review of background material to ensure that the student and I are on the same page. - I like to use word problems and real-life applications to help my students see the real-world applications of what they are learning. - I think I work best with students at the middle/high school level as I have enough of an understanding that I can usually answer most questions at a deep enough level.
