About Cole
As a graduate of MacEwan University, I understand the struggles of students. School can be hard, overwhelming, and it always feels like you're being left behind through no fault of your own. But I believe that everyone is capable of getting an A, even in subjects they just don't like. That's why I always put the student first and tailor my lessons to fit their needs. Learning is not just about getting the right answers on a test; it's a process of growth.

Programming can be difficult to teach, especially to beginners. But with over 3 years of experience as a programming instructor and a degree in Computer Science, I know exactly where students most often go wrong. My lessons are always a back-and-forth between the student and me.
- Introducing a high-level concept (what is a "for" loop? What is it used for?)
- Have the student put the concept in their own words
- Explain the concrete implementation of the concept
- Have the student use the concept to solve a problem.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution for all students. I pride myself on my flexibility and ability to adapt to student needs. I truly believe any programming concept can be taught to any student, and I will walk with them until they reach understanding.
