My approach to tutoring is focused on making concepts simple, practical, and easy to understand rather than just memorizing theory. I believe students learn programming and computer science best by actually solving problems and writing code, so my teaching is very interactive and practice-based.
Teaching techniques and methodology
I usually start by understanding the student’s current level and what they want to achieve. Then I explain concepts step-by-step with simple examples. After that, we work on practice problems, coding exercises, or assignments together. I also focus on problem-solving techniques, logical thinking, and debugging, which are very important in programming. I encourage students to ask questions and I make lessons friendly and comfortable so they can learn without pressure.
Typical length of a lesson
A typical lesson would be around 60 minutes, which usually includes concept explanation, examples, practice problems, and doubt clearing. If needed, lessons can be longer for assignments, exam preparation, or projects.
Qualifications and experience
I am a Computer Science graduate from VIT-AP University, where I studied programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, and software development. During my studies, I helped classmates understand programming concepts and assignments, which developed my teaching and explanation skills. I am confident teaching subjects like Python, C/C++, Java, basic web development, SQL, and computer science fundamentals.
