About Marie
I am student working towards a Masters in Computer Science with experience programming in a variety of different languages.
I have previous experience as a teaching aid for classes of children aged 7-10 with programming using block based languages to enable learning through exploration, as well as working in smaller groups to aid their maths and literacy skills.
I also have experience teaching English as a Second Language classes to 13-17 year olds.

I structure lessons around students' school and home work answering questions they have and helping them understand the 'why' of what they are learning.
By looking at how the structures they learn about in class are used to solve problems I aim to give students a more concrete understanding of concepts they find challenging.
