About Clara

Having had Mathematics teachers with ineffective teaching methods who often showed a lack of passion for teaching throughout my schooling career, I would often return home after an eight hour day at school being very confused.

Drawing from my experience as a volunteer assistant caretaker at a local daycare and volunteer assistant educator at my church, I believe that effectively teaching children requires understanding, patience and communication skills.

The aim of my lessons is to clear any confusion that my students may have faced during their English classes at school and also to assist them with their daily homework. I am willing to go through every measure to help my students reach their desired goal, whilst being friendly, helpful and making them feel very comfortable.

As someone who has successfully graduated high school and is now pursuing tertiary education, I would like to assist other students achieve their academic goals

About the lesson

My lessons are aimed at clearing up any confusion students (grade 5 until grade 10) may have encountered during their Mathematics classes at school and also assisting students with their homework. I believe that taking every problem step-by-step is a relaxed but effective approach that students can be comfortable with, while also producing the desired results.

Lessons will be divided into three sections : recapping class notes, homework and using school textbooks to prepare for the next day.

Lessons take place during the following time periods:

Mondays 1pm-6pm
Tuesdays - Thursdays 1pm-5pm
Fridays 1pm-5pm
Sundays 4.30pm-8pm

Please use the time slots above as a guide when scheduling a lesson.

I request an outline of the desired lesson outcome at least 24hours before the session begins.
