About Jack
I am a second year Computer Scientist at Durham University. I have been online tutoring since January 2019, with over 300 lessons completed across dozens of unique students. I tutor mostly year 11 - 13 students who are preparing for exams, but I also have plenty of experience teaching people how to code. I start by highlighting areas of the specification the tutee would like to cover in the lesson and go through cycles of teaching -> questioning -> practising each topic before moving onto the next, turning the tutorial into a conversation rather than an hour lecture.
