About Asher
I love computer science. I love learning and so I love thinking up ways to help others learn. Teaching is a great way for me to learn even more. I've been programming in C++, C, and Python for over 6 years now, and in Go, Javascript, and Rust for half a year. You can trust that my teaching will be accurate - I won't say what I don't know. I would love to help anyone puzzle their way to solving some interesting programming problems!

I can teach anyone from total beginner to computer science student/early professional looking to learn another language. I would like to adapt my approach for each student's needs and desires. I can be flexible and thoughtful. I can always try my favourite approaches and adapt from there, or ask the student about themselves in order to make the best plan! I am happy to do very short lessons or longer ones up to 1.5 hours. I have plenty of experience tutoring peers on various computer science topics, and a few more formal experiences as well. I've also taught swimming lessons for many years.
