About Calvin
I am an aspiring computer scientist studying at UNSW. I love teaching because it allows me to retain my skills as a mathematician, but also put those skills to good use by passing them on to someone else. I would love to be your tutor and help grow your skills together.

I am a passionate mathematics tutor for the high school level. I myself find math quite a cool concept which is what makes me enjoy being able to teach other people about it. I try and make my students understand the fundamentals of each concept instead of just drilling formulas, to create long-term understanding.
The typical length of my lessons is 1 hour but this can be extended if needed. As I just graduated from high school last year, after taking and achieving a band 6 in advanced mathematics, I am very closely aligned with the syllabus and familiar with teaching the concepts. Furthermore, at UNSW in my first term I had to take discrete math and higher math in which I achieved a distinction and high distinction respectively, so my skills have been further developed and are comprehensibly capable of expertly teaching high school math.
