About Mason
Hello, my name is Mason, and I've been coding for over 10 years! I first discovered programming at an after school club, and found it interesting enough to continue doing it through actual courses offered in school. I program a lot in my free time now - it's one of my main hobbies. I also get to occasionally use it while working which is always fun! I remember what it was like when I made my first game with a teacher, and I've loved being able to share that experience with my students.

Students will work through a premade curriculum at their own pace. If the student decides to learn Python or Roblox, we will create games with code. Java is what I recommend for my older students, where we focus more on text based projects, and learning the fundamentals of Computer Science.
The recommended age for my classes is 8-15, but anyone interested in learning coding for the first time is welcome.
A lesson will normally be split into two parts - during the first half of the session, we will review what we covered last time, as well as familiarize ourselves with a new programming concept. During the second half, we will focus on our current project.
