About Rey
I'm Rey, a Computer Science Undergraduate at the University of Warwick. With a bubbly and vibrant personality, I'm dedicated to building strong connections with my students and fostering a comfortable and enjoyable tutoring environment. Through my 2 years of tutoring experience during high school and sixth form college, I've had the privilege of witnessing my students achieve their academic milestones in Maths and Chemistry and most importantly, grow in self-confidence. Adapting to diverse learning styles is my forte; I enjoy the intellectual challenge and the fun it brings. For instance, I once crafted characters and a story to simplify a complex chemical process. My lessons typically run for one hour, a duration I find ideal for maintaining focus and engagement. I primarily work with GCSE and A-level students seeking support in Maths and Chemistry on a 1-2-1 basis, guiding them towards achieving their academic goals with individualised attention and expertise. I also place a strong emphasis on fostering rapport between my students and me. Creating a comfortable and engaging atmosphere is crucial to ensure that students don't feel intimidated or hesitant to ask questions. By building a positive relationship, I aim to make lessons not only informative but also enjoyable, empowering my students to approach learning with confidence and enthusiasm.
