About Rostyslav
I am a Computer Science (AI) undergraduate with a strong academic foundation in programming and mathematics. Having achieved a Triple Distinction* BTEC in IT, I am deeply passionate about demystifying technology for others.
My journey into tutoring began with a desire to make complex technical concepts accessible, not just for academic success, but to spark a genuine interest in the digital world. I believe that anyone can master coding or mathematics with the right, patient guidance and a personalised approach. My teaching methodology focuses on breaking down complex programming logic into clear, bite-sized concepts using relatable, real-world examples. Rather than just memorising syntax, my students learn how to solve problems logically through hands-on, practical coding.
Lessons typically last for 1 hour, which provides the perfect balance of theory and practical exercises without causing screen fatigue.
I am a Computer Science (AI) undergraduate with a Triple Distinction* BTEC in IT. Furthermore, I have over a year of direct experience as 1:1 peer tutor, helping students navigate tricky technical and mathematical topics with patience and encouragement.
These sessions are perfectly suited for secondary school pupils preparing for their Computer Science GCSEs or A-Levels, or absolute beginners of any age looking to build confidence in Python, Java, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS.
