About Samuel

My name is Samuel Ramos, and my musical path has been defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation. Over the last 14 years, I have transitioned from a self-taught pianist to a professional performer and digital creator with a global footprint.

My work is recognized by over 120,000 subscribers and has accumulated more than 50 million views on YouTube. This digital success led to my recognition as a Signature Artist at Musicnotes, where I have sold thousands of professional piano arrangements to musicians worldwide. Locally, I bring this same energy to the stage, performing movie soundtracks at prestigious venues like Place-des-Arts in Montreal.

Professionalism & Methodology:
With a background in engineering, I bring a unique, structured perspective to music education. I don't just teach you how to hit the right notes; I help you understand the mechanics of sound, the logic of harmonic progressions, and the technical workflow required to produce high-quality music in the 2026 digital landscape.

Why Study With Me?
Having taught for over 4 years to students of all levels—from fellow university students to parents—I pride myself on my patience and adaptability. I understand the frustrations of the learning process because I lived them myself. Whether we are tackling a complex Beethoven sonata or an "epic" arrangement of an Interstellar theme, my goal is to provide a supportive, professional environment where you can reach your full potential.

About the lesson

A Typical 60-Minute Lesson Plan:
___
1. Warm-up (10 mins): We start by sharpening your hand skills with easy drills and then use what you learned on a simple short song after.

2. Theory & Practice (30 mins): We dive into a short version of a piece you may know (from Interstellar to Beethoven). I teach you the specific hand positioning and teach you some musical theory along the way that is related to what you are doing in the moment. Instant theory to practice.

3. Song Practice (20min): We practice the song you want to learn fully and go step by step deconstructing each note and each finger placement so that you may play it with passion!
___

What Sets Me Apart?
Beyond teaching you the basics, I can also teach:
- how to record your first song
- create your first beat
- give your first concert
I went through all of it multiple times because I love it! I believe that music can bring people together in many ways!

Who are these lessons for?
- Beginners
- Intermediate/Advanced Players
- Aspiring Creators

I highly recommend Samuel as a teacher. I didn’t know him before starting piano lessons, but from the very first session he made me feel comfortable and confident in my learning. What I appreciate most about his teaching methods is his patience and ability to break things down in a clear, practical way that makes even challenging pieces feel manageable. He always takes the time to ensure I understand each step before moving on.
