About Tanya
I am a TEFL-certified tutor who enjoys helping people become more confident in communicating in English and Afrikaans. I am patient, friendly and supportive, and I believe that learning should be comfortable, practical and enjoyable.
I work with learners aged 12 and older, including teenagers and adults, and I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s individual level, goals and learning style.
I offer English and Afrikaans lessons, as well as English Business Communication and Afrikaans Business Communication for learners who want to develop their professional communication skills.
My aim is not only to teach language, but also to help my students feel more confident using it in real-life situations, whether for school, work, travel or everyday communication.
I look forward to getting to know each learner and helping them achieve their language goals.

I offer personalised online English and Afrikaans lessons for students aged 12 and older, including teenagers, young adults and adults.
My lessons can focus on conversational English or Afrikaans, speaking and pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening and building confidence in everyday communication.
I also offer English Business Communication and Afrikaans Business Communication, helping learners develop professional communication skills for the workplace, including business vocabulary, professional conversations, emails, workplace communication and confidence when communicating with colleagues or clients.
Every lesson is adapted to the learner’s level, goals and individual learning needs. I aim to create a friendly, patient and supportive environment where you can learn comfortably, ask questions and improve at your own pace.
Whether you are learning for school, work, travel, everyday communication or personal development, my goal is to make each lesson practical, engaging and relevant to your needs.
All lessons are conducted online, with flexible scheduling available.
