About Howard
For me, teaching English is about creating confidence, not just teaching a subject. Over the past 13 years, I have worked as an ESL tutor with high school and college students, guiding around 150 to 200 learners. Each student comes with their own challenges, and I enjoy helping them overcome those step by step.
I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while also improving communication skills through speaking and writing practice. One of my greatest achievements is seeing students grow into confident English speakers.
Many of my students have improved their academic results and communication abilities. My teaching style is simple, interactive, and supportive. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable to learn and express themselves.
My goal is to help students believe in their abilities and succeed in their English journey.

My ESL teaching approach is designed to make learning engaging, practical, and effective. I use real-life examples and case studies so students can see how English is used in real situations like travel, work, studies, and daily communication. This helps them connect theory with practice.
I focus strongly on motivation by creating a supportive and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas. I include problem-solving activities such as role-plays, group discussions, and real-life tasks that help students improve fluency and confidence.
I teach with integrity by giving honest and constructive feedback, helping students understand their mistakes and improve step by step. I also follow a flexible approach, adjusting lessons based on each student’s level, pace, and personal goals.
In addition to ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills, helping students become confident and independent English users.
