About Ibrahim

I am a passionate violinist, professional musician and experienced teacher with a lifelong connection to music. I began studying violin at the Alexandria Conservatoire at the age of 7, where I developed my classical training and later graduated from the Conservatoire. I also had the privilege of performing as a member of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, gaining valuable professional orchestral experience.

Alongside performing, I have always loved sharing my passion for music through teaching. I have extensive experience working with children, young people and adults, and I believe that every student has their own way of learning and expressing themselves.

For me, teaching music is not simply about learning the correct notes. It is about building confidence, developing creativity and helping students discover the joy and freedom that music can bring. I love seeing students progress from their first notes to playing a piece they are genuinely proud of.

Whether you are learning for pleasure, working towards an ABRSM qualification, or simply want to discover what you can achieve on the violin, I would be delighted to accompany you on your musical journey.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised, engaging and adapted to each student’s level, age and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to the violin, developing your technique, or preparing for an ABRSM examination, I will help you progress at your own pace while building strong musical foundations.

Lessons can cover violin technique, posture, bowing, intonation, sight-reading, music theory, ear training, musical expression and repertoire. For ABRSM students, I offer structured preparation for the Violin and Music Theory exams, including repertoire, scales, sight-reading and aural skills.

Having studied at the Alexandria Conservatoire and performed as a member of the Cairo and Alexandria Opera house Orchestras, I bring professional musical experience into my teaching. My aim is not only to help you play the notes correctly, but to help you understand, express and enjoy the music.

Whether your goal is an exam, performance, or simply playing your favourite pieces, every lesson is designed around you and your musical journey.
