About Jorge
I’m a pianist and instructor with formal music training from the Conservatorio de Música José Luis Paz in Venezuela, along with Music Performance studies at Broward College. I have experience teaching students of different ages and levels, and I enjoy helping each student grow into a more confident and independent musician. I also arrange and transcribe music, which gives me the flexibility to create material that fits each student’s needs and interests.

I shape lessons around each student’s goals, experience, interests, and learning style. We work on technique, reading, theory, and musicianship while also making room for music they genuinely enjoy. I often create custom arrangements of songs from movies, games, shows, and other music so students can play pieces they’re excited about at a level that fits them. I also adjust the pace, material, and lesson structure as each student grows.
